How to ease the pain if a wisdom toothing coming in?

It's only poking out of the gums a little bit and it hurts!): sometimes I just rub it and it hurts but it kind of relieves the pain in a weird way,it's like I'm teething Dx my dentist said I have to get it removed since it's impacted but that's not what's bothering me
